An attempt to find common ground between Franz Kafka’s waking nightmares, state terrorism and neoclassicism.incorporating 3D scan flyovers of 3 important but quirky and sinister military edifices. Kafka lived at his parent’s home most of his life other than a brief period in a rented Prague apartment and in Berlin.
Had he had survived and remained in Prague until the 1940’s, he would have likely been murdered by the Nazis, as were his 3 sisters. They were sent with their families to the Łódź ghetto. Two died in the ghetto, and the third later died at Auschwitz.

is a New Zealand/US artist represented in numerous international collections and has completed a dozen permanent and temporary public art projects. He has received several grants and fellowships
including a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, a NY state fellowship and the Rome Prize Fellowship. International group exhibitions and screening include Sanctioned Array-Other2 Specify at the White Box gallery in NYC, Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin/Madrid at the Centre Pompidou and at the Reina Sofia National Museum, Madrid, Spain; The Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, and the Moscow Museum of Modern. In 2013 he had a month long public screening at the Oslo Central Station, Oslo Screen Festival in collaboration with Kunsthall Oslo, Oslo, Norway. His videos were
exhibited at the Melbourne Art Fair in 2014. His last solo exhibition “Social Realism” opened at the Sanderson Contemporary Art, Auckland, New Zealand mid-November 2014.
